Dr. Garima Kumawat is a Senior Fellow at the Centre for Joint Warfare Studies (CENJOWS), Headquarters Integrated Defence Staff, Ministry of Defence, Government of India. Previously, Dr. Kumawat served as Assistant Professor in the School of Internal Security, Defence and Strategic Studies (SISDSS) at Rashtriya Raksha University (RRU), Gandhinagar, Gujarat, an Institution of National Importance established under the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India. Beyond academia, she has engaged actively with the policy community, having served as Director of the Security and Foreign Policy Initiative at Jasol Dialogue, where she contributed to policy discourse on India's external security environment and regional strategic architecture. Her scholarly output includes research papers, analytical articles, and book chapter contributions published in Scopus-indexed journals and UGC-CARE listed journals.
